【摘要】外国的侵略,后来魏源的《海国图志》更成为以后洋务运动的边防思想的基础。洋务运动期间,洋务派首先突破“夷夏之防”,从开始对西方“坚船利炮”的认识到海陆边防布局的思索,洋务派的边防思想随着边防形势的变化不断的在发展,并与中国的近代化紧密联系在一起。“师夷长技以制夷”的思想提倡学习西方,加强军备建设、陆海军建设等;国防格局思想注重海陆立体防御,确立海防、塞防并重。洋务派的边防思想对中国国防产生很大的影响,军事工业建设、军队建设、外交建设、经济建设等诸方面都取得了进展,边防实力有所增强。在军备建设方面,洋务运动的军事局厂为淮军、湘军、练军提供大量近代化的武器装备,以较为先进的洋枪、洋炮为主,改变了以前八旗、绿营时期军备落后的状况。在军队的军事素质方面,洋务运动以较为合理的湘军体制或西方军队体制编练湘军、淮...

【外文摘要】Westernization Movement took the leading role in the development of Chinese modern history. It was closely connected with China’s national defense, and it also had a great effect on China’s modern northwestern frontier defense.The thinking of Westernization Movement frontier defense based on Lin Ze-xu and Wei Yuan’s ideas contributed much to China’s national defense.
