【摘要】的原因做深层次的分析。经过研究,本文决定将集中地从北洋海军的“软实力”方面入手,分析甲午海战失败的原因。从军事软实力视角审视,北洋舰队存在着传统政治经济体制、建军思路、组建过程、指挥体制与组织体制等弊端直接导致了北洋舰队全军覆没的悲剧性结局。因此,有必要结合当前实际情况对我国海军现代化建设提供理论借鉴和经验总结。

【外文摘要】China have mostly lost each war against invasion since the first Opium War in 1840. but Jiawu War differed from other wars. China was defeated not only by western powerful countries but also by Japan whose culture once belonged to China s. Jiawu War leaded us to think, so we focus on the reason why the Beiyang Fleet of warship were complete failure. There were many reasons why Beiyang Navy was defeated.
